2008 Grammy Winners

Breathe a sigh of relief, Christopher Cross. Newly soberish Amy Winehouse was Hancock-blocked (sorry) from sweeping the big four categories at tonight’s Grammys when Herbie inexplicably picked up Best Album honors. Wino did have a huge night via satellite, though: five awards in all.
We’re shocked too!
Kanye and Bruce each took home an armful as well. And if you read the fine print, you saw Bright Eyes and Flight Of The Conchords were honored with statues pre-show. Barack Obama won Best Spoken Word Album for the second time. After the jump, check out all the winners you might be curious about (i.e., we left out country, classical, and Best Hawaiian … you can find those at grammy.com).
